When you look at Marjie’s paintings, it’s easy to see that animals, humor and color are the things that most inspire her. Working in acrylic, watermedia and mixed media, she says of her work, “I see my paintings as stories that are being told and as opportunities for viewers to imagine their own funny stories to go with the images. My ultimate goal is to add fun and lightheartedness to people’s lives. This is art for a joyful spirit!”

Marjie recently completed a painting for a poster to be used for fundraising by Walkin’ N Circles Ranch Horse Rescue. She also uses her art to help Animal Humane New Mexico.
